General terms and conditions

CARO FABRIC sells handmade leatherette accessories on its website carofabric.com. The general terms and conditions of sale below are intended to determine the terms and conditions of the commercial exchange between CARO FABRIC and the customer. The consumer will thus have all the information concerning his rights.
The present General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTCS) govern the contractual relationship between the company Caroline Dumortier, known as “CARO FABRIC”, a complementary independent company, and any individual or legal entity wishing to make a purchase via the website carofabric.com (hereinafter the “Site”). By placing an order, the customer accepts the present conditions without reservation.

2. Products

The products marketed on the Site are leatherette accessories. The essential characteristics of the products (description, composition, dimensions) are detailed on each product sheet. Product photos are provided for illustrative purposes only and are not contractually binding.

3. Orders

To make an order, the customer must select the products on the Site and follow the order process. Any order validated by the customer constitutes a sales contract between the customer and CARO FABRIC. After validation of the order, a confirmation email will be sent to the customer with the details of the order. CARO FABRIC reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order in the event of payment problems or suspected fraud.

4. Prices

Product prices are quoted in euros (€) and include all applicable taxes (VAT). Delivery charges will be added to the total price of the order and will be calculated before the order is validated. CARO FABRIC reserves the right to modify its prices at any time, but the prices applied will be those in force at the time the order is placed.

5. Payment

Payment for products is made online, by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, etc.). The customer guarantees that he/she has the necessary authorizations to use the chosen method of payment. The order will not be validated until payment has been received.

6. Delivery

Products are delivered to Belgium and mainland France only. Delivery charges are at the customer's expense. Delivery time is generally 3 to 5 working days after dispatch, depending on the carrier chosen. CARO FABRIC makes every effort to meet delivery deadlines, but cannot be held responsible for delays due to carriers.

 

7. Right of withdrawal

In accordance with current legislation, the customer has a period of 14 days from the date of delivery. They may therefore request an exchange or refund of the item, excluding return costs.

Returned products must be in their original, unused condition and in their original packaging. Return shipping costs are at the customer's expense, unless the product delivered is defective or does not conform to the order.

8. Liability

CARO FABRIC undertakes to supply products in accordance with the description on the Site. However, CARO FABRIC cannot be held liable for any problems related to the use of products or errors in the information on the Site (pricing errors, descriptions, etc.) beyond the amount of the order concerned.

9. Intellectual property rights

All elements of the Site, such as texts, images, logos and designs, are protected by intellectual property rights and are the exclusive property of CARO FABRIC. Any unauthorized reproduction or use of these elements is prohibited.

10. Protection of personal data

The personal information collected on the Site is intended for order management and commercial relations. This information is processed in accordance with the confidentiality policy available on the Site. 11. Force majeure

In the event of force majeure (strike, bad weather, computer system failure, etc.), CARO FABRIC reserves the right to suspend performance of its obligations without incurring any liability.

12. Modification of the GCS

CARO FABRIC reserves the right to modify its General Terms and Conditions of Sale at any time. Modifications will take effect as soon as they are published on the Site.
